Bryce Bennett is a fifth generation Montanan and State Senator. Bryce worked across the aisle to defend access to our public lands, protect the healthcare of over 90,000 Montanans, invest in Montana’s infrastructure, and was recognized by the Montana Chamber of Commerce for his pro-business record.

Bryce grew up in Hysham, a town of 400 people. He understands Montana doesn’t need more partisan politics, Montana needs a Secretary of State who can bring people together to get things done.

When special interest dark money groups came into Montana to try and buy our elections, Bryce worked with Republicans and Democrats and led the charge to pass the nation’s leading anti-dark money law, to ensure the only voice that matters on Election Day is Montana voters.
The Montana Ambassadors named Bryce their ‘Legislator of the Year’ for his effective work to battle dark money and ensure our elections are always accountable to the people—not out-of-state special interests.

In 2019, the Montana Chamber of Commerce recognized Bryce for his record of working with Main Street. As Secretary of State, Bryce will bring small businesses and entrepreneurs to the table to make sure government is responsive to Main Street and listens to the needs of Montana’s job creators.

Bryce has a long history of protecting access to Montanas public lands. Throughout his career he has fought the special interests who want to transfer our public lands to state ownership or sell them off to the highest bidder. Bryce will always ensure we keep our public lands in public hands.

Bryce founded the Montana Privacy Caucus by bringing together Republicans and Democrats in the legislature to combat the overreach of government and corporations into our personal lives. Together, the caucus has passed a series of bills which protect Montanans’ private data.

Bryce is running for Secretary of State because we need a Secretary of State that will fight for Montanans and get things done.
