The Yellowstone County Democratic Central Committee is the local Democratic Party. We’re all volunteers. We help elect Democrats to the Legislature and county offices, recruit and support precinct leaders, and help voters understand what’s on the ballot.
We believe in opportunity, equality, and accountability: a fair shot for everyone, the same rules for everyone, and a government that answers to the people it serves.
A party isn’t a building in Washington. It’s built from the ground up, starting on your block.

Any registered voter who considers themselves a Democrat is part of the party. No dues, no card.

Each precinct elects a committeeman and committeewoman to represent their neighbors. All seats are elected at the county convention in May 2027.

Precinct officers and elected officers meet monthly to plan events, support candidates, and make decisions. Meetings are open to everyone.

Our delegates help set the Montana Democratic Party platform and elect state party leaders.
