Connecting with Local Government Conference: December 1-2, 2016 League of Women Voters.

Yellowstone County citizens are invited to “Connecting with Local Government” conference at the Billings Public Library Community Room with Dan Clark from MSU Local Government Center, Thursday, December 1, 1-5 p.m. and December 2, 8 a.m. – noon. There will be a reception at Alberta Bair Theater, Thursday at 5 p.m.

Those attending will describe what works and what doesn’t work for them as citizens in Yellowstone County and Billings/Laurel/Broadview. We’ll learn about the current governmental structures and whether a change to the structure would solve inefficiencies or strengthen our programs. What changes would we make? How can we connect with local government officials?

Cost: $25 for both days; $15 for half-day. Registration limited to 96 participants. Pre-register by Nov. 28. The registration form is attached.
