Barbara joined RiverStone Health in July, 2003 as the Manager for Communication and Advocacy and assumed her current role in 2013. Prior to joining the organization she served on the Yellowstone County Board of Health and worked with the American Heart Association at both local (Billings) and national (Dallas) levels on communication and public policy issues. She has a degree in History and Political Science from the University of Montana and participated in the 2006 -2007 cohort of the Northwest Public Health Leadership Institute. Barbara is currently the Vice President of Planned Parenthood of Montana, on the United Way of Yellowstone County Board and is serving as an ex-officio member of the Health and Economic Partnership Livelihood (HELP) Act Oversight Committee which oversees Medicaid expansion in Montana.
