Yellowstone Democrats Social Club

Meet at 9 am for a short hike (about 45 minutes) up to the top of the Sacrifice Cliff and loop along the cliffs towards the south and then back east to the Trailhead. This is the parking lot that is opposite Canyon Trail Road where the outhouse is located next to the picnic table. It is the second Four Dances Recreational Area parking lot. If you drive past the televisoin and radio antennas, you have gone too far.

Look for Danny Choriki and his 2004 Red Sentra. Bring weather appropriate gear a snack and water. There are rattle snakes up there. They tend to be skittish and off the trail. But they are there.

There is another trail up there that is a little harder to find, but worth the time. The return path is graded to be accessible to wheel chairs, but I don’t know if the path is in place. We will report back. Next hike will be at Shiloh Conservation Area which is fully accessible.
