We offer a range of support for Democratic candidates on the Yellowstone County ballot, from tactical advice to financial assistance, and we’d be thrilled to discuss how we can help you succeed.

Our bylaws do outline a few simple steps to ensure we’re all working together effectively and that our candidates are aligned with the core values of our party. If you’re interested in receiving support from the YCDCC, here’s what that process looks like:

1. Share Your Supporters: Please provide the names and phone numbers of five (5) fellow Democrats in good standing who can speak to your commitment to Democratic principles.

   What does “Democrat in good standing” mean? They should meet at least one of these criteria: be a voting member of the YCDCC, a current or former Democratic elected official, or someone who actively participates in YCDCC meetings and events.

2. Affirm Our Platform: Submit a brief statement confirming your general support for the Montana Democratic Party Platform..

3. Introduce Yourself: We’d love for you to come to one of our regular YCDCC meetings to announce your candidacy and meet our members.
