Yellowstone Democrats Holiday Party
Join the Yellowstone County Democrats and the Yellowstone Democratic Club for a winter holiday party—a cozy, family-friendly evening of community, conversation, and cheer!
What to Expect:
Delicious Bites: Enjoy a selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by the renowned Abby’s Catering Company.
Festive Fun: Let your inner child (or just the kids!) run wild with Cookie Decorating for ALL.
Fireside Chats & S’mores: Step outside to one of our two fire pits for a warm “Fire Side Chat” complete with a complimentary glass of homemade eggnog and classic s’mores.
Music & Movie: Holiday music will be playing both inside and outside to set the festive mood, and we’ll have a silent children’s holiday movie playing indoors.
Community Support: Instead of gifts, the holiday party will host a gift card shower to support the local refugee programs in town, working in partnership with the Nations to Neighbors program. Attendees were asked to bring a gift card for one of two purposes:
- Gift cards for family-friendly activities that are considered luxuries for most refugee families, such as going to the art house, Lava Island, or the regular movie theater.
- Gift cards to specific grocery department stores—Winco, Target, and Walmart—because those are the locations where the refugee families have the greatest success finding culturally relevant food and where their dollar will go further.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Democrats, celebrate the season, and look ahead to the new year.
Note on Attire: Please dress comfortably and appropriately for a festive winter evening, especially if you plan to enjoy the outdoor fireside chats!
