MSU Billings College Democrats Hosted Candidates for 2017 House Race

The MSU Billings College Democrats hosted a video conference town hall for the announced candidates for the US House of Representatives seat presumably being vacated by Ryan Zinke. Zinke is in the process of being confirmed by the US Senate to take over as Secretary of The Interior.

The forum was conducted via video conferencing as none of the candidates were physically in Billings.  The College Democrats further upped their tech cred by live streaming the event on Facebook.

A recording of the streamed event is available on the MSU B College Democrats Facebook page.

According to KTVQ,

The plan was for candidates to speak at a town hall meeting at MSU-Billings.

However, MT Rep. Kelly McCarthy (D-Billings) and MT Rep. Amanda Curtis (D-Butte) were in Helena for the legislative session.

MSUB College Democrats President Cody McCracken said in order to be fair everyone appeared via Skype.

John Meyer from Bozeman, Rob Quist from Cut Bank, Lee Neimark from Whitefish and Dan West from Missoula also spoke.
