Why Gianforte does not represent Montana values

Part 4: Greg Gianforte profited off of the elimination and outsourcing of American jobs

This week, as Montana begins an 85-day special election to fill Montana’s open U.S. House seat, the Montana Democratic Party will continue to highlight why failed candidate for governor, New Jersey multi-millionaire Greg Gianforte, is unqualified to hold that seat.

Each day this week the Montana Democratic Party will show why Montanans rejected Gianforte in 2016 and will reject him again as a candidate for the U.S. House.

Greg Gianforte profited off of helping companies eliminate American jobs and ship them overseas.

According to the Chief Financial Officer at Gianforte’s software company, RightNow Technologies, the company created products designed to help large corporations cut costs by reducing labor.

Greg is a single-issue candidate, saying `I’m going to create jobs,’ but his experience is in eliminating jobs,” said Susan Carstensen, former CFO for RightNow Technologies.

The former RightNow executive further stated that Gianforte also cut costs for RightNow Technologies by outsourcing jobs to Armenia and India.

When the Billings Gazette asked Gianforte about his business practices being tied directly to the outsourcing of American jobs, Gianforte went “silent” and “wouldn’t comment” any further.

Montanans will continue to demand Gianforte come clean about his record of hurting American workers and outsourcing jobs.
