Disability Awareness Forum
AccessBillings is hosting its 4th Biannual Disability Awareness Forum this Saturday, March 21, from 1:00–4:30 PM at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center (Bitterroot Room, 1223 Mullowney Lane).
This free, public event brings together community members with lived disability experience, local support experts, and advocates to talk openly about accessibility challenges in Billings, share stories, and explore solutions together. The forum features two panels — one centered on lived experience and one on community change — moderated by AccessBillings’ Dianne Parker and Jack Lillis.
A resource fair will also be on hand, connecting attendees with local organizations including Riverstone Health, Billings Clinic, the Montana Employment and Training Program, Consumer Direct Care Network, and more.
RSVP is encouraged but not required. Register at eventbrite.com or just show up.
This is a nonpartisan community event. Full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act is a core Democratic value, and events like this one help make sure every Billings resident has a voice in shaping an accessible, inclusive community.
